The Jordaan
One of the most sparkling neighbourhoods in Amsterdam is the Jordaan. This traditionally working-class area reflects the real Amsterdam city life.
Enjoy the streetscape and atmosphere that is often the subject in the original songs from Amsterdam. Look around in one of the cool shops and have a look at the North Market. Have a drink in one of the real Amsterdam Cafes or on the waterfront in the sun. The Jordaan offers so much it is really worth a visit!
Different directions tip: Visit the shopping area De negen straatjes (the nine streets) Here you will find vintage second hand stores, alternative fashion shops and all kind of specialized shops.
